A Caterpillar bulldozer aids a John Deere tractor on steel wheels in harvesting corn on a Mennonite farm in Yates County, NY. It was a wet fall and the entire corn field was chopped with the help of the bulldozer. A slow shutter speed was used to convey the motion of the equipment and the chopped corn. You can see that the dozer tracks are rotating and the tractors steel wheels are spinning. So some motion blur is present.
I was born an army brat in Ft.Rucker, Alabama. Penn Yan, NY was always home base. Much of the first years of my life were spent traveling due to my father's service. At the age of twelve I ended up in Branchport, NY where I have resided since 1972. I fell in love with the outdoors, hiking, hunting, & fishing. In 2007 I bought my first SLR camera not knowing anything about photography. I took a couple of beginner courses at the Finger Lakes Community College in Canandaigua, NY and spent one weekend at a training seminar with the Rocky Mountain School of Photography.
